Overall it was easy to use but frustrating to use, it is good for people starting out as a beginner platform but for anyone with larger more mature lists it is difficult to work with.

Mailchimp is fine if you truly need the bare bones to set up your emails. It does the job. You wont get any additional bells and whistles, support help, 3rd party integrations, etc without having to go through a maze to get there. The "out of the box" solution is very minimal. If you are a decent sized brand would recommend a more robust ESP.

I enjoy utilizing the Mailchimp platform for basic business email blasts. The incorporation of artificial intelligence and templates designed to match my website are an added bonus.

I've used Mailchimp at two organisations and it makes it easy to send professional-looking emails to a large number of contacts. I only used the more basic functions as my organisation was very small, but there were a lot of other features I could have used if I needed to. It was generally easy to use their email editor but there were some funny quirks about it that made it more complicated than necessary in my opinion. I really liked the link checker function which saved me a number of times from using the wrong links!
