I have used both PestPac and ServSuite and this software is by far the easiest to teach and use at a local branch level. It's intuitive nature has extra features has already facilitated a significant drop in our A/R and an increase in customer satisfaction and retention.
Minpunten
The enterprise reporting could still be a little more robust. Their reporting in general is great on the individual branch level and it's very dynamic.

They key features I like most about this product is the ease of use, the migration process coming over was fairly easy with no major setbacks. The customer service is very prompt to address your problems or concerns.

I feel like the Sentricon portion of the software could really use a lot more work. The routing would be more helpful if it were based of actual driving directions. Not proximity.

We used to like that the company appeared to be innovative and flexible. They use to let you use their software in a fashion that best suited your company.

One Simple Reason to Run From This Software: They make significant changes to their software with zero notification to their clients. This requires restructuring how you use their software, retraining your staff how to use their software, and then you need to spend time repairing the damage their change made to how you use their software. All of this; of course, after you discover the changes they made on your own... Days to weeks after they made the change.

Overall I love field routes and have talked up the company for the last 8 years as a tech, a service manager, a branch manager, and call center support manager. I have learned to work around the challenges FR can throw your way. I have become a expert and a valued source for running custom reports. The low level support staff is amazing I've only had 2 questionable experiences in 8 years with them. They are quick to respond to your initial question and have a fair amount of tools at their disposal. Tech routes is a great app and has become a powerful tool for techs allowing them diagram stops and what/where the issues are present. Sales routes does a good job at keeping salesmen from knocking existing customers saving time wasted hitting existing customers.
Pluspunten
Scheduling optimization, Raw power in reporting and finding whatever it is you need from a reporting perspective. Most low level support agents are amazing to deal with.
Minpunten
Mapping out stops there is no true distance score and the miles shown are as the crow files causing huge issues with proper routing without having an extensive knowledge of the surrounding areas. its to easy to run the wrong report due to the advanced and complex reporting system (I do love the power but my owners, managers, and agents can all run what they think is the same report and return different information. ) Integration with vendors is difficult at best. there is little support or care with large projects that don't benefit FR directly. updates are sudden, with no information, and after the updates made you don't find anything out about it for days or longer if you don't touch the system daily.

Overall - ServSuite is an essential part of our day to day operations and I cannot see our company changing software in the foreseeable future. Their customer service is prompt, dedicated, thorough and reliable. This is truly the best software for our industry, hands down!

What I love about ServSuite is that not only does it track all of the vital information we need for our clients, but it allows us to paint a picture of their history with us. From initial set up, to scheduling recurring services, invoicing, payment history, collections and everything in between ServSuite is a one stop shop for our industry. They are also excellent at letting you know when and what kind of updates are on the way!
Minpunten
When it crashes, our entire branch is affected, which sends our daily operations to a halt. The scheduler tends to crash and malfunction as well.

I work with over 40 branches. I like that I can easily jump back and forth from branch to branch. This helps with scheduling.

The software itself could use a facelift. It looks a bit outdated. Sometimes it runs a bit slower than I think it should.

What I like most about this software is the ease of inputting. There are so many different fields that allow you to have very specific customer information. This also allows you make very specific reports which are all customizable.

What can I say? Over 20 years and have no major issues. In fact I am still learning what all the program can do, and do for us. When I was researching for new software in 1998 (anyone remember Y2K?), a friend suggested I purchase ServSuite. He stated "It is expensive for a company your size, but, it has more features than you will ever use, and it is the last software you will ever need tobuy. Guess what? He was right!
Pluspunten
I love many features of the ServSuite software. We especially love the scheduler feature. Very helpful to be able to optimize route for CSRs that do not know the zip codes and city grids. We have used the program for many years (over 20) and have been amazed at all the upgrades over time. ServSuite has continued to evolve as the Industry changes. The mobile application has been easy for my techs, which says a lot because not all of them are tech savvy.
Minpunten
There is always a learning curve following an update - but we do not "lose our minds" over it. I really wish I could use the report writer feature. I have tried, but it is horribly complicated - to me. And the #1 complaint I have always had is there is no simple report to tell you how many new customers you signed up in a given time frame. The "Sales" reports always give you existing customer info along with new starts.

I took over as Branch Manager after our company had been using PestRoutes for over a year. They had migrated from PestPac, and it appears for all intents and purposes that the migration went well. It was a steep learning curve for me, and they want to charge for additional hands-on training (what I would call "re-doing the onboarding"). Even 2+ years on I'm discovering that our people either weren't trained properly in the beginning, or that that tribal knowledge was lost in the general turnover that companies experience. However, their customer service has always been helpful as we've called in about simple questions because we didn't know where to look in the Help Wizard.

The reporting features are incredible....if you have good input. Not a FieldRoutes issue, just a pebcak error.
Minpunten
Reporting is a double edged sword: there are so many different ways to get the same information that I've had to create a library of how to run the reports that we want. Yes, you can save reports, but only in the Reports tab. Side note - why isn't the Sales Report in the Reporting tab but in the Customer tab?

I wish there was someone that would've walked us through the set up. process ie contracts, trigger rules, permissions etc. There is so much to know and I feel like we are not getting the full potential of the software even at our current use.

We are much more productive on Servsuite than we were with our past software. We are able to review and adjust our business based on the information available in reports from the system.

For day to day use it is easy to use. The Customer Service team does an excellent job responding timely almost every time they are contacted. The system is very dependable little to no down time as a result of a ServSuite issue.
Minpunten
If anything requires any sort of programmer to get involved the length of time is entirely to long and no updated are provided. Also, if one client reports an issue that would involve us all, Servsuite does not sent out any sort of bulletin to all their customers, this would be a great idea to assure as little damage as possible when a major issue takes place.

When brought to the attention of support we get a lot of answers that have nothing to do with what our issue is (I feel because they really are not listening) and the "the team is looking into it". It can be very frustrating at times.

It is fairly easy to use once you get the hang of it. The mobile app is extremely easy to use. The desktop/browser takes some training because there are so many options but once you get the hang of it, it's not bad at all.

There could be some updates for it to be more user friendly in certain areas. I also wish that it was integrated with QuickBooks as that is what we do our invoicing in.

Outstanding customer support especially to new users as myself. Patience is one of the key factors in talking to support that I have noticed. Response is prompt and they are consistently keeping you in the loop when your problem cannot be solved right away. I would like to give a big thanks to CSR for all her help and support in addressing a newcomers concerns and lack of knowledge using this software. For someone who was not trained and thrown into this position as office manager, she was vital as well as, Team 1 in helping me navigate and work through my difficulties.

We have been using ServiSuite for approximately 2 years. We are a small family owned pest control company with advanced growth each year. Since coming on board with ServSuite it has enhanced communication, scheduling, reporting and organization for our business and customers. Honestly, there are too many positive features to mention in what this company has to offer. If they do not have a feature that is one size fits all they will improvise and compromise to make the system work for you if possible.

The new fieldroutes app is not as user friendly as the old techroutes app and many features in it do not work. I have to use fieldroutes to complete forms because my techroutes app is not working with forms. Then I have to go back to techroutes to finish the service. I am very frustrated with this new app. I have had phone conversation and many emails about this and still haven't fixed the minor problems. In my opinion techroutes seems like what would of replaced fieldroutes. The techroutes app is what made us go with pestroutes. If Fieldroutes was in place last year I do not think we would of chosen Pestroutes.

Overall experience has been great - a for sure improvement over Pestpac (except in the scheduling department). The support team is friendly & knowledgeable as well.
Pluspunten
The software is easy to use, especially when running reports. There are multiple reports that gather any information you could possibly want. It is easy to train & continues to receive updates that benefit our company - employees & customers. It is clean & modern - enough information on each page without making it appear cluttered.
Minpunten
Scheduling could be improved. If a technician arrives at a stop out of order, it does not put it where he clocked in. We then have to review the QA reports just to see how he checked in. The combo of some of the access controls make it difficult for management to ensure employees are not adjusting items they shouldn't - invoices for example.

I feel as though ServSuite thought "dang, we need to get on this web-based bandwagon" and threw together a system before really testing it for functionality. I mean, why have a report titled "Mailing Labels" that when it prints, has a header that prevents the actual labels from printing correctly?
There are bits here and there that make zero sense (searching for a service address is infinitely more difficult than it should be), and some of the functions are so difficult to perform, we don't even use them. Even with the support team's assistance, we still had issues entering a payment plan and the end result was so confusing, it would have been easier to keep track of the plan on a piece of notebook paper.
We are a small company and don't need all of the features that the program offers. It would be ideal if we could set our own required parameters when entering information, and not what ServSuite thinks is important.

Missing basic reports, difficulty viewing important information, difficulty entering items that should be straightforward, difficulty searching for service sites.

There are so many features available to use and the "Tips & Tricks" webinars truly help you to learn how to utilize these features to suit your company's needs.
Minpunten
There are some things with billing and invoicing I wish were a little different. It would be nice to customize certain customers needs. Also, would love to be able to print multiple invoices on a customer(s) at a time instead of one by one.

I especially like that Field Routes makes tracking everything from adding a new customer to billing a service that has been completed. We have had much less missed billing.
Pluspunten
Integration was easy and went quickly. I like the fact that we can schedule, update and invoice everything through Field Routes. There is very little that goes on with a customer that cannot be done through Field Routes. I especially like the customer service I call a lot for help and they are always very helpful.
Minpunten
My biggest concern is that techs seem to have issues with the mobile app mostly with the time clock. We are always having to make corrections with their times. Also at one point they added an option to do estimates but it took away another add-on that we used all the time. I believe they are working on that though, still waiting.
