Through Paychex Flex I can access my payroll receipts, have closer communication with human resources, have an entry and exit record to validate my hours worked, and have my benefits clear. It has been very useful because I can access it easily and at any time, an alternative to not bother human resources whenever I need them for payroll issues

Everything has been perfectly used and working perfectly, I have no problems or mistreatment

Fairly easy to set up and utilize. Streamlines search for reports and forms

the terminology for forms under search makes it difficult to find some forms or reports.

I love that Paychex offers a pay now option where you can get paid before pay day so that you dont have to wait to get paid to pay your bills or overdraft your accounts. It charges a small fee but absolutely worth it.

The app is slightly glitchy and they do maintenance often on the app. The apps dashboard is slightly confusing but it is customizable.

Fairly user friendly. The online access for employees is great. Easy way to print W2 form. Is a secure product.

If the reconciliation does not work, you have to spend time figuring out why. Employees could not change tax withholding on the site and had to do thru HR.

Most things are all in one place, I wish they would add requesting time off in the app though.

I often find that my PTO is listed incorrectly and the menu navigation isn't the easiest.

I like the ease of navigation throughout the app.

I cannot think of anything I do not like about Paychex Flex.

Simple to use, easy interface. Clear labeling for finding information.

The amount you make is not hidden. There should be an extra step to see you pay amounts and salaries.

The program is very user friendly. Love all the admin tasks

I really am pleased with the way the program works

The platform is widely used across the entertainment industry. It allowed my union members to access their paycheck info and w2s for multiple companies in one app. The representative for my area was attentive and always available to fix any problems that the support line could not fix. They are pro-active in maintaining customer satisfaction.

It can be a bit clunky to process paychecks for people who are paid in different ways. The layout could be a bit better.

Also there is a lot of sub menus that you need to access to adjust specific parameters for each employees. It can be quite confusing.

Paychex flex simplifies payroll and HR by having all in one dashboards

I found Paychex Flex very user friendly. The only drawback was that the employees had occasional glitches with logging in.

We had a difficult payroll and many on the implementation team became frustrated all except our Payroll Manager. She was patient and work with us to get a great product. Even when we decided to leave Paychex, she follow-up to see if we still needed their services until our new payroll vendor was able to get our payroll set up in their system.

The system is hard to use. Many of the features convert back to original features. The system nor the training received from the implementaion team did not allow the Administrator to make minimal employee information changes. This was frustrating. Also, the assist feature was outdated and was hard to follow the steps to rectify an issue using the help assistant. As well, CSR was not able to assist with any issues either. Very frustrating.

East to use. Dashboard has everything I need.

Not a flex problem but having to reinvite staff multiple times until they register.

I wish it was more cost effective for smaller companies

This software has streamlined the payroll and HR systems for us. With scheduling, new hires, terminations, LOAs, wage increases, promotions, timecards & reports, the work is streamlined, easy to use & works in a logical manner. I pleased that the software makes the employee responsible to ensure their information & hours are correct.

Running reports to review OT took a few tries to do correctly, but I was able to find features I didn't know were available, so that was a bonus.

Paychex has a great user interface that makes it easy to find all the resources I need to manage my time, benefits and employee approvals for time off.

One challenge is finding the right support agent for the issue I am having. It can take some time to get connected.

Paychex Flex came to my rescue when we needed it most. It ensures accurate and timely payment, compliance with tax laws and regulations and security of our data. It has made things simple leveraging HR experience for our experts.

This software has helped us solve many different challenges and improve numerous workflows. No challenges encountered.

My favorite thing is that I can see all my tax forms on Paychex, that way I don't need to worry about losing my papers or asking someone for another copy.

I don't like that it limits how soon you can clock in and out. Sometimes I go on my break, but minutes later they ask me to come back and help someone else. But because you have to wait a bit before you can clock back in, it blocks you. Or at least that has been my experience.

I think one of the best features of Paychex Flex is the wide range of features it offers, including payroll processing, HR management tasks, and attendance tracking.

There are some notable cons:

The customer service is absolutely horrendous. It can take days to hear from your account manager. If you speak with a customer service representative, they always suggest contacting your account manager.

The website was completely unusable when trying to process payroll. If you had to make any adjustments, it could take a day of just lagging since everyone else was using the website.

The fact that you can use platform to complete approval of time, time clock, payroll processing, and scheduling time off. Which I feel prevents using multiple platforms which may cause issues with certain tasks possibly being able to be overlooked.

I would just think that the price for the service could be a little lower and across the board for all features available

Not much, I suppose it was inexpensive and does not change very much from year to year.

Lack of innovation, the technology seemed like it was from decades ago.
