We have been using Connect team for a couple of years now.
To capture our staff work ours especially to review there overtime as the technicians are paid overtime as they may get called out for breakdowns at any hour and Connect Team helps us keep track of there hours and to pull there records , a spreadsheet is created every month for payroll and overtime.

We've been using it for over 2 years, we're quite satisfied with it overall. They constantly update the features and functionality, a lot has improved in the last years. Support has always been great. There are a bunch of further features in larger packages but we're happy with our current setup.

Very useful for various aspects of the business including scheduling, communication.
Minpunten
While the task management module is great to have, its functionality isn't ideal and not on par with other software I previously used for such tasks, but overall we're still sticking to it to reduce the number of platforms we're using within our team.

The app platform is user friendly, very easy to figure out even with no training. When I discovered there was no way to GPS track my very wide and spread out sales team, I switched to another service. Printing time sheets was a little glitchy but while annoying it was manageable.
Pluspunten
For field canvass management PROS - this app does work great ONLY IF you have immediate supervision over your field team. You can communicate via messaging and do the basic punching in and out right from this app. You can print time sheets.

FIELD CANVASS MANAGEMENT CONS
-You can NOT GPS track your team, so if you DON'T have supervisors actually out walking with your canvassers you will not know where they are and you'd have to just trust people punching in and out and actually canvassing and doing what they're supposed to be doing.
- I didn't care for the time sheets feature on the desktop, you'd have to log out and refresh any time you select the period (dates) that you want to export, which was a huge pain for me.
-If you have commission ONLY canvassers, this app would be OK, and its very cost effective, you get a lot out of the free version.
Now, if you're like me and have hourly+commission team - you want eyes on them at all times. You can't pay someone hourly without knowing what they're doing - are they at the mall shopping? are they home? Are they working?
The lack of real-time tracking was the main reason I stopped using it. Wasn't a good fit for us, but it may be a good fit for someone else.

Thanks for your feedback! We're a bit confused, though. There IS real-time GPS tracking, and you can see your users' routes when they're on the clock, so if you want to make sure people don't wander around, that's definitely available. As for switching between dates in the timesheets, they DO update automatically in real-time, you don't need to refresh manually, and you definitely don't need to log out.
On top of that, we're adding the ability to clock users out automatically if they leave a certain Geofence, so with that capability, you can rest assured no one's getting paid if they're not in the workplace...

The features are fantastic and the ease of use on every staff who uses it. People have different knowledge on apps and we have staff who are elderly who use it. We love Connecteam because it is so easy to use, it has powerful features, and a friendly and very responsive customer support team to assist queries for admins that use the app.

It is a good alternative to WhatsApp, especially given the GDPR data protection laws around contacting employees within working and non-working hours. You can customize the look by adding you company logo, you can divide users into intuitive groups (e.g. by shop location) and assign managers etc. Some features need to be worked on, like glitching of the app on mobile device, especially the issue with chat not loading (but the main feed loading well).

If you are looking for a platform that can be your one stop shop for your employees, Connecteams seems to be the best application. From easy chats and updates to scheduling and time clock, and to top it off knowledge bases and courses. The platform is constantly upgrading and listening to their customers feedback, making it more accessible. The platform has been easy to pick up by all staff, young and old.

My only complaint about Connecteams is the issue of inconsistent notifications for when forms have been submitted or approved.

There is not a way to save messages or flag the like other apps. I like thr task’s ability, but it’s a pain to use vs just “saving” pr pinning s chst like in the previous app we used. Also, if I need to message more than one person at a time, I have to create a group and name it and that really is a pain in the butt.

Overall it is a user friendly platform! It would also be nice to be able to view the posted schedule while viewing employee time sheets, otherwise you have to have two separate windows open of Connecteam at the same time shrunken down to properly assess people’s time sheets, and with the clunky scroll function in Scheduler it is quite bothersome and too time consuming. Thank you!

It is fairly easy to navigate and learn on the fly! The chat function is very helpful as well.

The scroll function in the Job Scheduler is obnoxious, as it is cumbersome and glitchy all the time making it slow to use. There should also be a way to add Unavailability in Job Scheduler when there is already a scheduled time off request, without having to go into the Time Off tab separately. You need to add the same functions in a day/cell as when there isn’t a current approved request off, just like you can still add a shift we need to be able to add unavailability.

all the tiers of payment. Seems like some basic items that a small business would want but can't afford aren't available. The employees and manager find it difficult to fix a "day off" that was put in in error. And I REALLY dislike that a manager doesn't have the ability to approve or disapprove days off in the basic level that I have. This feature alone may be why i don't resubscribe for another year.

Overall I like the platform. The interface is user friendly and allows for a lot more than just scheduling/timesheet maintenance. The fact that you have an all-in-one platform that you can upload your own course material and apply it to your staff is a great feature.
The biggest cons are that Connecteam is slow to load regularly and has frequent points where it cannot be accessed (at one point it was down for many staff members for more than 12 hours). If Connecteam can fix this issue, I would consider it hands-down the industry leader.

The adaptability with the platform is great. I like the ability to create and access courses on Connecteam. This is a big feature that I have not seen on other platforms

As for managing group chats, we have the manual way which is similar to any other chat app, by selecting group participants manually. But what really sets us apart is the ability to manage chat groups automatically using our Smart Groups feature, which will add and remove users automatically based on a set of custom rules to your selection :)
If you're a system admin, you can manage those groups from your dashboard (set it once and let it fly), and if you're not an admin, feel free to reach out to them with suggestions for improvements as they can control if users can or can't groups, with whom, and so on :)

Pluspunten
Ease of access and great features. Lots of features that I find useful.
Minpunten
It's a bit hard to add time offs with specific time. Like for overnight shifts. If I am to file a leave from 7pm till 3 am next day it doesn't allow me. Always had to choose full day off that results to errors.

Pluspunten
Simple effective tool to communicate with staff, and keep a schedule mobile and under control anywhere I am.
Minpunten
My only complaint is the optics of building a schedule on calendar view often has pop ups of other shifts that are head to navigate around. Aside from that, I really don’t have any complaints.
