Highly visual interface (share plans, markups, version control) between back office and field ensures a higher degree of alignment and understanding of task to be done and quality control of task completion.

The focus is on the creation of plans rather than projects, lack of single-sign-on, the layout of the screen can take some getting used to and with the large volume of information available.

I really dont have information about IT stuff, but this software is reachable from every device and everywhere very fast. That is important. We are working in a 50FL tower which has no signal in its core, but anyways, when the tablet reaches a signal, all things done offline is sychronized for everybody at that sec. Which saves a lot of time and builds confidence

Improvements could be made by user, like open softwares, the menus may become much more editable.

This software keeps us organized and opens the communication between the office and the field.

Wish you could copy and paste templates and forms after a company has been set up.

I love the precision picture taking, "on the spot" notifications for every member when changes to projects are made, easy note-taking on top of plans and task managing.

Simply that I haven't had the time to go through it all already! Too much work!

With over 300 roofs currently this program allows me to follow the status of all of them. Plus the ability to have my foreman's enter and update remotely enables to office to have a live updated on our current projects.

I didn't like not being about to run a report on all my projects vs only being able to run a report on task.
Also I want to be able to rename the work task to HOUSES. I also don't like that you can move your side bar. Ex.... the list is Plans, Task, Photos, Form, Files, People. You can't adjust the order. Also with you are submitting a photo. You have to either take a photo or use one previously uploaded. You can't use a photo from your phone's storage and upload immediately.

The ease of learning and using fieldwire. Its crucial for us to have a simple system that can perform at a high level to allow us to track and present our work. The reporting aspect of fieldwire is brilliant too as it allows us to present data and information to our clients in a organised and easy to follow way.

The only downside would be if we could customise it a bit more. We use man power & cost to track all sorts of things such as the size of a repair or the quantity of steel used. If we would be able to change the title of these it would be a massive help especially to those new to the projects, with helping their understanding of how our systems work.

Easy to use, awesome interface and a awesome tool to track the progress and billing on any job site.

Sometimes it’s hard to touch or move objects around when page is to crowded and it takes little than extra time to upload new adding so into print for other to see.

Plan markups and ability to scale/measure plans

Some features are/aren't available depending on apple/android. Some aspects are extremely user friendly, others aren't.

The overall ease of use of this product for field staff and cost was the deciding factor.

No take off feature available to integrate with excel spreadsheets.

The task features. Being able to assign task and track them.

Not really anything I don't like. Maybe would add edit features on pictures.

The logical application makes training staff easy and the reporting function for exports make reviewing work much faster

Form design could be more self editing so you can re make forms to fit into current program

The ease of use and ability to keep up with everything. I love having the ability to keep up with multiple sites without having to visit them. Every crew is at my fingertips.

I have not really had any issues. Maybe a small glitch very seldomly but resolved quickly. This is a must-have for any job site big or small.

The software was very easy to setup on our phones, ipads, pcs, tablets, etc. Just throw the plans on there and start making notes and uploading photos during the site walk.

We wish we could add the entire company but it costs too much per user.

I like the picture and daily reporting feature we use those the most. Punchlists and reports

I feel like it should have the ability to set a time a task is due to be done and have Fieldwire send a reminder if a task has not been completed by due date. It is difficult or I don't know how to use a picture that someone else put into fieldwire and mark it up and add to a task will working on my mobile. NO change order tab i have tried creating my own just don't have a lot of time to work on anything but work.

Ease of start up and training for our employees.

Nothing is difficult to use on this product.

Ease of access to information on one site.
Ability to manipulate documentation.

Would like to access daily reports on site by week or month to narrow search.

Being a structural building inspector downloading plans from PDF into the drop box is great and quick and the ability to comment and hi light on the working drawings is what stirred me to this app.

The only thing I can say negative is when writing a comment on my report, the font size automatically go’s to size 16 which I find rather small. I generally use size 30 which is more ledgible.

This works quite well when on site and needing access to documentation while in the field. Easy to upload pdf files to it. I've used this for accessing drawing files while on site with the contractors and documenting items on punch lists. Intuitive to use and has enough tools to use for marking notes on drawings for reuse in the office.
Started using on Ipad, when that died I was able to access it on the cloud on my laptop and now that's how I use it.

At this point I have not found any issues with the software.

Data on website and on mobile synchronized at all moment. Very good display and good functionality on the mobile. All data available very quickly, easy to follow project.

Some views for reporting can be improved on the website. Alerts and reminders are not working well.

Easy to generate reports and keep tracking of construction process

Integration with Apple Pencil I have seen a better integration with other products form competition like Plangrid.

Having everyone with a copy of the plans is great!

Haven't used enough to figure it out yet.

It was fairly easy to import files into Field Wire.

It was limited in its ability to mark up prints for as builds.

Excelent support, mobile phone app, task control, share with customer, import blueprints , share with team

expensive, large learning curve, employees think the blueprints are hard to look at in the software.
